School

The education that we offer is wide, varied and very adaptable to the government requirements of the educational system of our country as well as the pupil’s age-group.

In the morning there are nursery classes for children aged between 3 to 5 years old in both public and private schools. The classes start at 8 a.m and finish at 12 a.m and the subjects vary depending on the day of the week which are usually reading, oral skills, writing skills and numeracy as indicated in their respective timetables.

All the subjects are taught in English Language with the purpose of preparing the children for secondary school education. This is completely in English language unlike the public nursery school, where the medium of instruction used is Swahilli for all subjects, the official language of Tanzania.

At the same time, Samson, Erasto and Lukumai are in charge of private candidates who are unable to join the secondary schools due to several personal reasons. Those need some extra help for preparing themselves for the National Examinations of Tanzania to enter to higher education studies.

In the afternoon there is also a session for both primary and secondary school students to assist them with their studies and strengthen the pupil’s previous knowledge from their respective schools as a way to improve their academic performance.

The classes start at 4p.m and finish at 6p.m and the subjects are English grammar, additional languages such as Spanish and Mathematics. Those subjects may vary depending on the individual needs of each student.

Due to the lack of the financial support of the government we are unable to provide them enough educational material such as notebooks, textbooks, excercise books and even simple supplies such as pencils, rubbers, sharpeners, colours and pens.

This is why we need your help for giving them all this necessary material to enhance their educational development.
